About Sam Remer

I’m Sam Remer, a denim-first personal stylist helping women 40+ find jeans that fit beautifully and build elevated everyday wardrobes around them.

I founded ILoveJeans.com in 2006, long before denim advice was easy to find online. Since then, I’ve spent two decades helping women understand what actually works for their shape, lifestyle and wardrobe — especially when it comes to finding jeans that feel good, look current and make getting dressed easier.

My approach is simple: denim first.

Because when your jeans are right, everything else starts to fall into place. The jacket feels sharper. The shirt works harder. The shoes make sense. The whole outfit feels more intentional, without needing to be over-styled.

My background

Before denim became my signature, I worked as a freelance fashion stylist in the 90s, when fashion felt wildly creative and exciting.

I styled shoots, worked with editors, models, musicians and real women — and learned how clothes can completely change the way someone feels in themselves.

It was during styling trips to Miami that I first discovered the new wave of premium denim brands that would soon arrive in the UK. Jeans were changing. They were no longer just casual basics — they had become a fit, fabric and style statement.

That was the moment denim began to feel like more than just part of my styling work. It became the piece I kept coming back to.

In 2006, I launched ILoveJeans.com after seeing how little guidance women had when it came to finding jeans that genuinely fit their body, lifestyle and style.

Nearly two decades later, that same belief still sits at the heart of my work: start with the denim, and the rest of your wardrobe becomes easier.

Who I work with

I work with women from 40 upwards who still love denim, but no longer want to waste time trying on pair after pair of almost-right jeans.

Many of my clients come to me after a body change, a lifestyle shift, retirement, a career change, or simply a moment of realising their wardrobe no longer reflects who they are now.

My work is calm, practical and personal. I look at fit, proportion, rise, wash, fabric, lifestyle and the way you actually want to feel in your clothes.

This is not about chasing trends or buying more for the sake of it. It is about finding the pieces that make your wardrobe feel easier, more polished and more like you.

I offer private denim styling at Selfridges in London, as well as my signature 90-day wardrobe experience, The Everyday Luxe Method, for women who want a fuller denim-first transformation.

Whether we work together for one focused session or across 90 days, my aim is always the same:

To help you stop guessing, find your best denim, and build outfits you feel genuinely good in.
