The Fit: These jeans are a high rise capri (crop) style and available in sizes 4 to 14. Comes in three washes, medium blue, dark blue and grey. This review was on the size 26 / UK8.

The Rise: 10 inches. If you think this maybe too high for you then measure your unique rise now. Rachel’s rise is 12 inches so this jean sits 2 inches under her belly button!

The Behind: The back rise measures 14.5 inches, which gives good coverage. The yoke of the jeans (this is the piece the waistband and seat are attached to) are on an upward angle which gives the bottom a lift. There is also a slight shading on the pockets which give the illusion of shapely bottom.

The Leg Opening: 3.5 inches, there is a small vent on the outside of the ankle.

Leg Length: 26 inches. Cleverly the outside seams have been brought forward which make the leg appear slimmer!

The Fabric: 2% Elastane, 98% cotton. This is a good mix of fabric which tends to keep its shape and gives the wearer comfort. A light weight denim that can be worn in the summer.

Which Body Shape: Hourglass, Pear, Long and Leggy, some Apples ( who need a higher rise).

The Round Up: Rachel who is a pear shape really liked this style so much so she bought a pair. She loves a high rise jean and found the wash and the whiskering around the hips very flattering. I found the front and back rise too high for my apple shape although I like the tapered leg which was a good length for me as I’m 5’2.

At £22.99 this jean is a keeper as it ticks a lot of boxes if you’re looking for a higher rise.
