While I was working in the Liberty Denim Department, I noticed that women fall into two camps when it comes to buying jeans. Some women are looking for old school, dark clean jeans, possibly raw denim without the stretch. Others are indulging in the nano trend of comfortable, hi-tech denim fabric that promises to slim, lift and return to its former self on recovery.
I also see the pull towards clean dark denim jeans, that looks like a 5 pocket jean rather than a jegging. It’s a staple you’ll go to time and time again.
Here’s the general consensus on the matter: (answered by a group of women on facebook).
If you have a bigger bottom the raw denim jean with not much stretch holds it in better than the softer style. The dark clean denim jean is more of smarter going out jean.
So I can understand both sides of the fence.
