tie dye tribes

While researching for this post I realised that there are actually different Tie-Dye Tribes. I’m one of those women who love a smattering of tie-dye ( not just for summer) but all year round. I love how the colours merge together giving a feeling of freedom & hope, I sound like a hippy I know.

Because this trend is such a statement it can be seen to be a ‘tricky trend’ to mix into our existing wardrobes. So I’m going to break down the ‘Three Tie-Dye Tribes’ and style some outfit templates for you to take inspiration from.

Ebb & Flow Tribe

I named this tie-dye ‘ebb & flow’ as it reminiscent of the tide coming, going, fluid and flowing into different colours. I would say it’s the easiest of tie-dyes to wear and dress up. Looks great with white jeans!

Rainbow Festival Tribe

The Rainbow Festival Tie-Dye Tribe is the one that’s ‘loud & proud’ shouting “look at me!” It’s the perfect print to layer especially with denim. If you find it’s too over the top then add a denim jacket or white shirt and have the prints swirls peeking out.

Blurred Blue Denim Tribe

Last but not least this is the most ‘retro’ of the tribes. Personally, I’d go all out denim with this one. Go big or go home, try a boiler suit or a summer dress. My favourite is this one and it’s sustainable!
