Ted Baker have recently launched their stunning new Autumn Winter 12 Collection and it’s straight in line with one of my most favourite looks;  the Great British Outdoors.  Boasting  autumnal and botanical prints, rich heritage fabrics such as tweed and cord and a touch of opulence creeping in on the detail.

Ted’s signature prints are inspired by botanical vintage finds with the foxglove, sweet pea and decoupage cluster prints seen on part of pieces or, as on the dresses, adorning them head to toe.  The tailoring is sharp and sophisticated softened with ladylike luxe fur coats and tippits that add true glamour.  Angora and chunky knits are perfect for snuggling before the fire or next to your loved one whilst exciting flashes of colour, animal print and stand-out accessories make a statement.

Look out for the Fair Isle and Navajo printed knits too – a trend we tipped for the top recently.

The Ted Baker AW12 Look Book is brimming with inspirational looks you’re sure to covet at first glance but my two favourite shots are as follows.

Wow!  The Chanel-inspired jacket offers a tailored silhouette softened with the faux fur collar.  I love the blend of a fitted tweed jacket teamed with a billowing maxi skirt and the pop of colour with the bold print shirt.  The overall look is flattering, feminine and proud plus the addition of the hat shows extra confidence and fun – exactly how fashion should make you look and feel.

The mesh of textures amalgamate perfectly and present a look that makes you want to reach out and touch him!  An otherwise autumnal and neutral palette is given an extra lease of life with the deep blue/ teal jacket, emphasised further with the matching band on his tribly whilst he brass buttons to the jacket add a gentle nod of military influence without being over-obvious. The shot captures inspiration on how men accessorise too.  THIS is the way to make the man bag look cool with a tweed laptop carrier, very sleek.   The hat is the final touch, again – showing confident quirkiness that helps celebrate the eccentricity British style is known for.
