After the first week of our road trip, I managed to get an afternoon off and jumped in an Uber to test out the shopping in LA’s The Grove, an outdoor shopping mall. Coming from the UK I really wanted to visit a handful of stores such as Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack (outlet shopping), Madewell, Old Navy, Sephora, and Target. Below are the stores I purchased from.
At NORDSTROM I wanted to check out the jeans of course and a brand called Trouve’ which I’ve admired online but was eager to get a feel for it in the flesh, there wasn’t a big selection but I fell in love with this corset style sweat-shirt. (below no 2). Just seen this which I like too! You can never have enough t-shirts and I really liked the neckline on these by BP. (below no 1).

My next shopping destination was in Anaheim on our way to Disneyland!
The Outlets at Orange had a good selection of stores and I was able to visit NORDSTROM RACK, which is where all the sale items and last seasons clothing, accessories & beauty can be found. This is where I picked up my best bargain a pair of Joes Jeans (above no 4) for 68% off! Also, this which is great for Autumn.( above no 3).
My last purchase was at Old Navy, which is the same group as The Gap. I wanted to try the Rock Star skinny jeans I blogged about here (above no 5). I’ll be reviewing these soon!
Because the exchange rate is so bad for us Brits the USA has become really expensive so when you’re shopping stateside, shops savvy and do your homework on where to get the best price!
