With two kids, two dogs, shopping with clients and a blog to write, I really don’t get much time for reading books. I flick through Grazia and Vogue (usually in the bath) so my only time for a leisurely read is when I’m infront of my Mac. So this post is dedicated to my favourite blogs and here’s why?
LE CATCH
Le Catch is perfect for a quick shopping inspiration. Blogger Marlien Rentmeester, a former Condé Nast Fashion Editor picks just one item per post and creates an outfit around this one piece – A shoe, bag, top, jeans or an accessory. It’s simple and it works each time, never boring! Hell I’m jealous at her blogging ease. Love it.
JEAN STORIES
Jean Stories is a blog about everything denim, up and coming denim brands and who, why and how they wear them. It’s shot beautifully and never fails to disappoint. Created by Jane Bishop (from the Ron Herman Family) & Florence Kane both ex Vogue fashion writers. If you love jeans it’s true treat.
Oh and you can be part of the your stories pages by uploading an instagram pic of yourself looking your best in denim, just tag it #jeanstories
APPLE AT THE LONDON HOTEL
AppleatTLH is a very new blog (only been up for a month) but in a short space of time has captured many people’s hearts (mine being one of them). It’s a documentary of a young women in her mid 20’s, Natasha Applebaum (hence the Apple in the title) who has just found out she has Leukaemia and coming to terms with the early stages of her treatment. It’s an uplifting, interesting and inspiring read which just flows, you would think Natasha’s been blogging for years! Blogging for clarity of the situation and to give strength to others going through the same. Truly inspirational.
