Which Style Of Denim Shorts Should You Wear?

The question you need to really ask yourself is “which style of denim shorts should I wear?” The answer really comes down to how much leg do you feel comfortable showing? If the answer is just the ankle, then opt for a pair of cropped jeans.

A backlash of Lockdown fashion is to be super comfortable so we’re seeing more style of Bermuda shorts, newly named Dad shorts. Pedal pushers are a perfect length for city slickers who don’t wish to show too much leg. Team with a blouse & jacket for a classic style.

  1. I notice on the body shape, you never mention the waist, It“s not much good getting a pair of jeans that are high waisted although that could be helpful, but I have to resort to elasticated waist, I am 5″ 2 with 27″ inch leg length, no bottom but unfortunately 37″ waist.
I must be honest I haven`t looked very hard just went ahead and bought elasticated waist

    • Hi Maureen, thanks for your comment. When you’re looking at which rise eg: high rise or mid-rise for a pair of shorts it’s really the same as shopping for jeans. Check out this post It will explain how to measure your rise to decide which is best for your body shape. Elastic waist shorts are great and follow a sporty trend and comfort is key. You sound like from your description you could be an Apple Body Shape, if so have a read here . Let me know if you need any further help. samxx
