I recently bought a pair of dungarees and a denim jumpsuit from Mango (see above), to see which style would suit my apple body shape, surprisingly it was the dungarees that made it into my denim edit. The jumpsuit got the chop because of the neckline as it went into a V, which I thought would be good for my shape but actually in retrospect I think a shirt style jumpsuit may have been a better bet. (even I get it wrong some times!)

 OVERALL/ DUNGAREE’S

Now I’ve done a bit of homework on this and as I see it there are two types of dungarees, the slouchy workwear, similar shape to a boyfriend jean, Current Elliott Ranch Hand Overall and a more body contoured option Joe’s Jeans Charlie Flare Overalls for more of a feminine feel. If you’re a girl with curves then show them off with a pair that has shape and stretch. Looking for that minimal androgony then go slouchy.

JUMPSUITS

The Jumpsuit comes in many styles, in the style of a shirt 1969 linen denim jumpsuit to the Three Floor LA Attitude Denim Jumpsuit with a sexy cut out back. So the Jumpsuit is all about how much coverage you want or don’t in some cases. It can be a sexy way to show your shape or also hide your shape. Again see below a mix of the jumpsuit….
