WHICH MATERNITY JEANS?
Finding out your pregnant is such a unique time and often throws us into turmoil about our changing body shape. Comfort is definitely on the top of our which maternity jean checklist, but style is equally as important.... If they don’t look good you won’t feel good!

Which band is best for my bump? It’s a personal decision; there is no right or wrong. Some women prefer an over the bump band as they want to feel more secure and held in. Others tummies are quite sensitive and prefer under the bump styles. Either way never pull your maternity jeans up by the bands, or belt loops. You’ll tear the jersey fabric away from the denim; its best practice to hold onto the denim fabric and tug gently.
Should I make do with a high street maternity jean when I’m only wearing them for a short time? – Never, they are actually less comfortable as they tend to stretch out and fall down after a few hours of wearing. Also – they do not wash well, and as you will not go right back into your non-maternity jeans you will actually be wearing them for the better part of a year. (Trust us our Blossom jeans are so comfortable you’ll want to wear them much longer!)
If you invest in a quality pair, which fit well they make you fell more confident.
What style would suit me; with my growing bump I have no idea? We recommend a classic boot cut as it balances out a bigger bump. What size should I buy? Sizing – we always recommend starting with 1 - 2 sizes bigger than you imagine you are – after all your pregnant and your growing, its about getting the right fit, being comfortable, not what the size in your label says!
