What you have described sounds like you are an Apple body type not an Hourglass. Apple figures are bigger on the stomach, small on the bottom and thin on the legs. Most of an Apples weight is on the top half which is why it's important to choose jeans that will balance out your figure.
Boot cut, flared  and straight  cut jeans you should go for.

You sound like you are an Apple body type.
That dreaded muffin top is not a good look I agree.
Stick to styles with a wider waistband which wont dig in to your waist and give overspill.
Hudson's signature stretch boot cut jean is a perfect example as it has a double button closure on a wider waistband that sits on your hip. Then you will be able to wear a size smaller which will fit better on your petite frame. Always make sure your jeans have at least 2% stretch to allow for your waistband.

Sounds like you are an Apple shape but take the Body Type Guide just to make sure!
When you have big boobs it's important to make sure what you wear balances out your proportions.
Wearing skin tight skinny jeans will extenuate your assets and make you look like you will topple over. So stick to boot cut, straight leg or boyfriend jeans which will give you that balance needed.
You are also Petite in height so it's worth checking out the petite collections of high street stores such as Dorothy Perkins who classify the petite woman to be 5'3" and under in height. They have a good selection of petite styles such as Diamante belted jean in a dark denim boot cut £30 and many more styles to choose from.

It's really annoying when your favorite style of jean is discontinued! if your looking for old stock then websites such as Yoox.com and Ebay are a good place to start to the hunt.
Or if you cant live with out them why not use your jeans as a template and get the jeans cloned!

Hi Selina,

Made in Heaven's London jean is a higher waisted jean than most at 8.5" and the straight leg is a good shape for a boyish figure.
Available from ilovejeans online shop £140.
Another designer to look in to is Radcliffe Denim as again the waist is slightly higher, check out the SW1 Stretch trouser jean which has a wider waistband to combat the muffin top! £145.
W11 Boot cut Jean is also a perfect day jean. Comfortable but still with the Radcliffe sexy tailored cut.. £145.

That's a real shame and I hope you ask for a refund.
Most good department stores have an alteration service and would know what finish would be needed on jeans.
A good independant tailor service is hard to come by so I would recommend going with a well known company such as http://www.jeevesofbelgravia.co.uk/repairs.htm as they offer 100% satisfaction or your money back!
