- I am size 12, 5 feet 6 inches and suit bootleg cut jeans. I think I have a boyish shape (not long legs) and suit high waisted trousers as I am thin under my rib cage. Please could you suggest flattering jeans in a mid/light denim? Many thanks for your help.

- I am 5ft 10 and size 14. I struggle getting jeans that fit around ny middle proerply ( usually have a gap in around the back area) and I wouold like a pair of jeans to flatter my figure. Sounds like you have a common problem when finding jeans to fit you...
I suggest that you concentrate on trying jeans, that have a higher rise around 9-9.5 inches or actual high waisted jeans. Jeans that sit above your waist, will avoid the gaping at the back.

Sounds to me like you have nothing to worry about regarding coloured jeans. They are not a great idea, for bigger thighs in a skinny style, but other than that, they are quite a versatile trend.

Jeans to look for to help create that illusion you are desperate for are ones, with back pocket details. Pockets with flaps or buttons are great, in that the design usually is for that specific result!
Also look at stitching designs at the back, v shapes or curved ones create the fuller look you are after!

You sound like you are either a pear or an hourglass body type.
