Today we are reviewing the Current/ Elliott Stiletto Skinny Jean in Multi Arrow Print from Donna Ida.
Sadly this is the last time Rachel will be modelling for Tried & Tested and we wish her well on her journey. Just to remind you Rachel is a slight pear shape size uk 8 wearing a size 25 jean.
The Fit: These super hip Aztec-inspired printed skinny jeans by Current/Elliott are a chic option for spring. Donna Ida Say’s: Team with a colour-pop t-shirt for an effortless off-duty look. Sizes 23 – 30 (approx UK size 4- 12).
The Stiletto Skinny fit is one of the best selling jeans of the season, with only the print and colour change, the fit remains the same through out.
The Rise: The rise on the Stiletto is 7.5 inches, which goes up as the size gets larger (size 30 = 9inch rise).
The Behind: The multi arrow print over powers the back pockets which blends into the print. The back pockets are plain.
The Leg Opening: The leg opening is 10 inches which makes this style a skinny jean, slim fitting to the ankle.
Leg Length: The inseam is 27 inches, which is a cropped style sitting on the ankle.
The Fabric: 98% Cotton 2% Spandex gives this jean a good stretch feel.
Function: The Stiletto skinny is Current/ Elliott’s best selling jean for over two seasons now. Each season they offer must-have prints which fit well with the shape and style of the Stiletto. The multi arrow print is definitely a “look at me” print and with such a mixture of colours this jean is an easy one to wear.
Which Body Shape? Well it’s like this, anyone needing a higher rise than what you see below unfortunately this jean is not for you! So with this in mind this jean is good for a Petite, Long & leggy, Slight Pear & Small Hourglass body shape.
- size 25/ 7.5 inch rise,
- size 26/ 8 inch rise,
- size 27/8 inch rise,
- size 28/ 8.5 inch rise
- size 29 / 8.5 inch rise
- size 30/ 9 inch rise.
Tip: Revolutionize the way you buy jeans by measuring your unique rise measurement.
The Round Up Of The Current/Elliott Stiletto Skinny Jean Multi Arrow
Love this print, in fact I pretty much love all the prints Current/ Elliott have brought out this season. But my continued gripe is that the rise is at least a half an inch too low for myself an Apple and for Rachel who has a unique rise measurement of 12 inches. Although she can wear this style, she is more comfortable in a higher rise.
The multi arrow print has just gone into the sale at Donna Ida from £165 to £85, where other retailers are still selling this jean at full price.
